ZeroFee Tools' free QR code generator is an online QR maker that creates scannable codes for URLs, WiFi credentials, vCards, email and SMS. Make unlimited QR codes with custom colors and download them as PNG or SVG. Your codes never expire and cannot be deactivated.
Make a QR code in seconds
Pick a type, fill in the details, customize the look, and download. These are static QR codes - your data is encoded directly inside the code, so it works forever with no account and no server that could ever switch it off.
Guests scan the code and join your WiFi instantly - no typing the password.
Scanning adds you straight to the phone's contacts.
Scans forever · no account · nobody can deactivate it
Why your codes can never expire
Most "free" QR tools give you dynamic codes: the code points to their server, and they can switch it off the moment you stop paying - even after you've printed it on packaging or a shop window. QRFree only makes static codes: your link, text, or WiFi details are encoded inside the printed pattern itself. There is no server in the middle, no account to cancel, and nothing anyone can take away from you. What you can't do with a static code is edit it after printing - for anything that must never change (your website, your contact card, your WiFi), that's exactly what you want.
Frequently asked questions
Is this QR code generator really free and unlimited?
Yes. Generate and download as many QR codes as you like: no account, no watermark, no daily caps. The generator runs entirely in your browser.
Will my QR code stop working one day?
No. These are static QR codes with the data encoded directly in the pattern, so they never expire and cannot be deactivated. No subscription, nothing to renew: print once, scan forever.
Can I edit a QR code after printing it?
No: static codes cannot be edited after creation. To change the destination, generate a new code and reprint. (Editable codes are a paid dynamic-QR feature elsewhere.)
Do you track scans or store my data?
No. Everything runs in your browser; we never see your codes, track scans or store your data.
Which size should I download for my QR code?
PNG is best for print and everyday use; SVG scales to any size without blurring, ideal for signage and large-format printing. Print at least 2 x 2 cm (about 1 inch) for reliable phone scanning.
My phone will not scan the code. What went wrong?
The usual causes: low contrast (use dark codes on light backgrounds), a code printed too small, a damaged or blurry print, or too much data in one code. Regenerate with higher contrast and a larger size, then test before printing.
