Terms of Service

Last updated: October 4, 2026. Effective date: October 4, 2026.

Terms of service are the rules for using a website. These Terms govern your use of ZeroFee Tools (zerofeetools.com) and all of its free online utilities. By using any tool on this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Short answer: ZeroFee Tools' terms of service explain that the tools are free for personal and commercial use, provided as-is with no warranty. The page covers acceptable-use rules, disclaimers, liability limits, and your rights, written in plain language. It is free with no signup.

1. The service

ZeroFee Tools provides free, browser-based online utilities: calculators, converters, generators, editors, and similar tools. Every tool is free for personal and commercial use. You may use tool outputs (generated text, images, QR codes, documents, calculations) in your own projects, including client and business work, without paying a fee or asking permission. No account or attribution is required, though attribution is appreciated.

2. No warranty: provided as-is

All tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs, or that results will be accurate or complete. You use the tools at your own risk.

3. Not professional advice

Tool outputs are estimates, illustrations, and productivity aids: they are not professional advice. In particular:

  • Health and fitness tools (BMI, calorie, body fat, sleep, pregnancy, ovulation calculators) provide general estimates only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified health professional.
  • Finance and tax tools (salary, mortgage, loan, tax, investment calculators) provide approximations for planning purposes and are not financial, investment, or tax advice. Consult a licensed professional before making decisions.
  • Legal-adjacent tools (citation generator, invoice generator, contract-adjacent templates) do not create an attorney-client relationship and are not legal advice.

Each relevant tool carries its own on-tool disclaimer. Where a tool's disclaimer and these Terms differ, follow the stricter guidance and consult a professional.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the tools for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the site or its hosting infrastructure, including automated scraping at rates that degrade the service for others.
  • Circumvent or ignore the rate limits and usage policies of third-party services the tools rely on, such as the Zippopotam API or Nominatim/OpenStreetMap.
  • Misrepresent tool outputs as certified, official, or professionally verified results.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, or interfere with other users' use of the tools.

We may restrict or block access for users who violate these rules.

5. Intellectual property

The ZeroFee Tools name, logo, site design, and the tools themselves are the property of ZeroFee Tools and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the site and tools for their intended purposes. You may not copy, rebrand, or resell the site or tools as your own service, or remove copyright and attribution notices, without prior written permission. Content you create with the tools (your inputs and generated outputs) belongs to you.

6. Third-party services

Some tools rely on third-party services (for example, the Zippopotam API for ZIP lookups, Nominatim/OpenStreetMap for place search, and public CDNs for fonts and libraries). Those services are provided by their respective owners under their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or practices, and a third-party outage or change may affect tool functionality without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZeroFee Tools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the tools, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the site, which is zero.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If a change is material, we will make a reasonable effort to highlight it on the site.

9. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected]. Please allow some time for a reply.

Frequently asked questions

Are the tools really free for commercial use?

Yes. Every ZeroFee Tools utility is free for both personal and commercial use. You can use tool outputs in client work, business projects, and products without paying, signing up, or asking permission.

Can I rely on calculator results for medical, financial, legal, or tax decisions?

No. All results are estimates and planning aids, not professional advice. Health tools are not medical advice, finance tools are not financial advice, and legal-adjacent tools do not create an attorney-client relationship. Always consult a qualified professional and read each tool's on-page disclaimer.

What counts as misuse of the tools?

Unlawful use, attempts to disrupt or overload the site, aggressive automated scraping, misrepresenting outputs as certified or official results, and circumventing third-party API rate limits (such as Zippopotam or Nominatim) all violate the acceptable use rules and may lead to blocked access.

Who owns the content I create with the tools?

You do. Your inputs and the outputs you generate (text, images, QR codes, documents, calculations) belong to you and may be used freely, including commercially. The site's branding, design, and tool code remain the property of ZeroFee Tools.
